Who Are We?

Inspiring Arts is a vibrant community and youth theater committed to making artistic, uplifting and...inspiring theatrical experiences for the whole family. We draw audiences, cast, and crew members from all around the Greater Cincinnati area.

Our goal is always to inspire and educate.  We strive to teach our young performers the craft of acting.  While they're with us we also teach that being the leading lady or leading man means leading their cast by their example of responsibility, integrity, and graciousness.  We hope to inspire our audiences with quality performances, raising the bar for what community and youth theater can be.
Inspiring Arts wants to inspire our performers to: 
  • Commit themselves to an uncommon level of quality and professionalism in rehearsal and performance, taking the stage with conviction and clarity.

  • Be in touch with their own hearts so they can touch the hearts of those others…both on and off stage.

  • ​Create an atmosphere of ‘team’ where encouragement, kindness, and love for one another is part of our DNA as a company.

  • Grow as leaders and creators, seizing opportunities for student leadership and participating in the creative process as a valued member of a team.
We seek to inspire audiences by:
  • Prioritize the creating of ART over entertainment.     
 
  • Elevating expectations of what the Arts should look like, and valuing that which is BEAUTIFUL in Art.
 
  • Telling great stories that invite us to       ponder, reflect, and feel... and ultimately point us to Truth.
 
  • Providing a theater experience that doesn't seek to push a political agenda or stretch the boundaries of normal society.

Our Leadership

Artistic Director
BETH KENNIV
Our Inspiring Arts Artistic Director brings 26 years of teaching/directing experience with kids of all ages. Beth is also the scriptwriter and lyricist for Horizons of Gold and McBride's Call.
Administrative Director
KERRY MARSH
​Behind the scenes leading the support staff, Kerry serves as Inspiring Arts' Administrative Director. Besides theater, Kerry runs a youth robotics team and manages a homeschool coop!

Inspiring Arts is a 501c3 non-profit organization, led by an elected board of directors which serves to provide direction and vision for the organization by establishing broad policies and formulating strategic objectives.

Inspiring Arts is exempt from income taxes as an organization described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
It is not considered a private foundation. All donations are tax-deductible.
