AUDITION INFORMATION
This is Inspiring Arts' high school production so we are primarily casting high school actors.
Auditions are open for actors 7th grade - 12th grades.
The following groups may also audition, but will be cast on a limited basis:
*3rd-6th grade girls may be considered for the role of Minnie May.
*Actors in their 20s may be considered for adult roles.

Performances
March 27-30, 2025 All performances will be at Parrish Auditorium at Miami University Hamilton. **We are considering a Friday school matinee performance on March 28. Cast call would be around 12p.

AUDITION DETAILSCallbacks
Sunday, January 12 Callbacks will be at the STEM Center, 6956 Dimmick Rd. If you received an ENSEMBLE CALLBACK, please be familiar with the song "Dress with Puffy Sleeves" below, especially the section from 1:05 - 1:25.
TO SUBMIT AN AUDITIONTo audition, you will submit the theater form linked below, and include your audition video links. Please record all conflicts on the form, and note if any are partial or negotiable. Possible or potential conflicts should be noted as conflicts and explained in the notes section.
Please record your song and monologue as two separate files. We prefer to see you from the waist up on a simple, plain background with good lighting. Upload your videos to YouTube, make them "unlisted," and include the links in the Audition Form. **NOTE: if you are having trouble uploading due to copyright issues, just send your videos to [email protected] with your name. |
MONOLOGUE
- Choose one of the monologues linked to the button below, and record your best interpretation of the character.
- This does not have to be memorized, but you should be familiar enough with it to act without staring at the paper the whole time.
SONG
- Choose and prepare 1-2 minutes of a Broadway-style song that highlights your vocal range.
- This should be memorized, and should show off your acting skills.
- We prefer you to use an accompaniment. Please make sure that your voice can be heard over the track.
